Inspired by the speech of Padmashree Girish Prabhune at the District conference, RCP Katraj decided to rise to the occasion and support the 'Punaruthan Samarasata Gurukulam' at Chinchwad where around 400 children from the tribal (Pardhi) community are residing. A quick need assessment was done and the club installed 1000 Ltrs Solar water heater for Padmashri Girish Prabhune's 'Punaruthan Samarasata Gurukulam' at Chinchwad. The facility will help the students residing at the Ashram for fulfilling daily bathing needs of hot water while also conserving the Environment. Currently they are burning wooden sticks for heating the water. This will also get discontinued thus protecting the environment from harmful smoke emission.
