Water harvesting & Irrigation project was launched by DG Rasmi Kulkarni during DG visit meeting. . Project is started in Mangdari village , the village adopted by Club for happy village project in strategic planning. From this project villagers will get water through out year for their daily uses. The silt was accumulated over the stored water since last 21 years. So it was actually a challenging task. However with the help of the Grampanchyat , our RCC members and the generous donations, we could complete this project successfully. Fortunately, it rained immediately after the work was completed and water got filled in the storage place after 21 years. Villagers were too glad to express their happiness in words. Now the water is going to 35 farmer's farms through small canals. Also, a road is ready with the extracted soil and the soil extracted which is fertile soil is also distributed amongst 4 farmer's fields.
