Raksha Bandhan is our ongoing Service Project which is done every year. It is done jointly with Rotary Club of Pune Tilak Road and Rotary Club of Pune Dhayari. The motive of the project was to celebrate the auspicious day with under privileged children of Pune Vidyarthi Griha and help them with educational aids. The program started at 9 AM and was anchored by Rtn. Meena Ghalsasi. The program started with singing of national anthem. Rtn. Sanjay Ghalsasi welcomed all the members explained the motive of the program and contribution of Rotary Club of Pune Katraj in it. Rtn. Chandrashekhar Ainapure, President of Rotary Club of Pune Tilak Road explained the contribution of their club in the project. President of Rotary Club of Dhayari explained the importance of Raksha Bandhan and highlighted that it was celebrated across all religions and communities. Rtn. Hanmantrao Bhosale , who is also Chairman of Pune Vidyarthi Griha thanked all the clubs for support. Our Anns tied Rakhis to the students of Pune Vidyarthi Griha. Our club distributed Geometry boxes along with writing materials which would help them a lot educationally. 120 Students were benefitted. Also snack packets were distributed to them. The program ended with Pasayadan sung by a student from Pune Vidyarthi Griha
