Malin is a place where the entire village was buried under soil. Those, especially women, who survived needed support, economical, moral and social. We taught them how to stich Godhadi, i.e. Indian Blanket. We trained them, gave them raw material and bought their godhadi which gave them occupation and earning to the tune of Rs 2 lakhs. This activity spread so well that we started getting invitation from Karvenagar, and other places. At Malin now we are teaching them stitching cloth bags, in the era of plastic ban. We supply them material, and buy from them the bags, when they are paid Rs 5 per bag. Thus we are providing them occupation and helping them earn their livelihood. Khamgaon, adivasi village in Dist Buldhana, had a school for adivasi children but without much support. We supplied them RDEP units, Audio-Visual Laboratory, 10 tabs for Adult literacy. So far 25 illiterates have been made literate by the students with the help of tabs.
