President Rtn Milind welcomed all the board of directors for the fourth BOD meeting of the RY 23-24. • The Minutes of the last BOD were confirmed. Proposed by Rtn Viraj Dravid Seconded by Rtn Nukul Dinkar • President Milind reviewed the various activities conducted in October. He congratulated Rtn Vivek for Service projects, PP Vidya for weekly programs, Rtn Kalesh for Interact activities, Rtn Nukul for Project Uday & Quiz. • Service Projects: Rtn Vivek gave information as follows: 1. In Breast & Cervical Cancer checkup camp, 56 ladies’ CBC test was done, 13 ladies were taken to Lokmanya Hospital for Mammography and 5 were referred for Biopsy test. 2. Useful health & government card distribution camp was conducted at Amanora for Avantika, Security & Housekeeping Staff. 3. Sashakt Nari – Hemoglobin & Bloodgroup checkup was done for 671 girls at Sane Guruji School, 1200 more girls’ checkup is planned in 3 schools at Rasta Peth. 200 girls had low hemoglobin, were given with Iron/Folic Acid supplements and will be retested after 3 months. 4. General Health check-up camp at Amanora is planned on 26th October. 5. Proposal – Free Cataract operations worth 15 Cr are planned with help of H V Desai Hospital & Pune Blind Men’s Association; Funds are available for 30000 operations in two years for which 3 lakh eyes should be tested. 10000 patients from Bus Depot planned to be tested along with RCP Cantonment by December End. H V Desai Officials want us to visit their new setup. – approved by BOD 6. On 18th November, a session for 30000 students of 10th standard by Kedar Takalkar is planned on how to prepare for board examination – approved by BOD 7. Right to breathe is postponed to January 24 – 10 lakh rs are sanctioned by Devras Hospital • Club Administration: President Milind gave information about next month programs: • 21 October – Navratri special meeting + Business Meeting 3 • 29 October – Kojagiri Celebration at BhaViSa Bhavan, Sadashiv Peth • 4 November – Adarsh Ganesh Mandal & Samaj Parivartan Puraskar • 11 November – Swarsaaj & New Member Induction • 18 November – Interview of Club Ladies • 25 November – Business Meeting 3 • 2 December – Annet’s Night & Nomination Committee Election • Pushkaraj suggested Sunil Deodhar as speaker in club meeting. • Youth Service: Rtn Kalesh gave information as follows: 1. Rotaract Club is planning good projects regularly. 2. Two Interact Installations are pending – Hiraman Bankar (Principal Gaikwad is retired, New Principal Shirke is informed about our Interact Club, he will give Bhalchandra Sir as Interact Coordinator) & Yeolewadi Schools. President Milind suggested to complete the installations before Diwali. 3. Free distribution of Ideal Study App to 10th Standard students by our District should be planned in Bankar & Yeolewadi Schools. 4. Shivsrushti - Ambegaon visit for Muktangan School students cannot be planned due to insufficient funds. 5. Next RYLA venue to be decided 6. Rtn Vivek suggested to distribute books for IQ growth by Balak Palak Pratishthan, costing 75 ₹ per book – 30 books can be given on experimental basis to Dadachi Shala. Vinayak Joshi can be contacted for the books. 7. Rtn Vivek will return the cheque of 1.2 lakh ₹ taken for E-learning Kits and get a new cheque of 5 lakh ₹ 8. PE Sameer suggested a vendor for very low cost notebooks which can be given to Dadachi Shala. • Membership: President Milind gave information about this: 1. New Member Induction is planned on 11th November. 2. Member Orientation will be planned on one Sunday morning. • Public Image Director: Rtn Viraj gave information about this: 1. Jacket planning is in progress, Rtn Nitin or Galani vendor will help Viraj to finalize the jacket. Rtn Asmita suggested to get those ready before DG Visit. 2. Calendar Project can be repeated. PP Pushkaraj suggested to approach Rtn Dileep Pandit for photos for calendar. PE Sameer suggested United Printers for low cost calendar printing. 3. Rtn Asmita reminded about flex for keeping Pigeons out of societies. 4. President Milind informed that rosters are ready and will be given on 21st October • The Rotary Foundation: PP Pushkaraj gave information about this: 1. November is foundation month, New APF Challenge to be promoted in club. 2. New members are followed up by PP Prasad. 3. Godaan project is uploaded, Rtn Nukul to give 33000 from his friends, cows will be given in March-April. We have selected Velha village (assessment completed, monitoring is available) • Vocational Director: PN Ajay gave information about this: 1. Quarterly report is submitted to District Vocational Service Director Vasantrao Malunjkar. 2. Planning to felicitate Parvati Post Office postman with vocational excellence certificate + Water Bottle on 4th November. • Event Director: Rtn Nukul gave information about this: 1. Project Uday is going well. Second phase is planned with TV donation to Dadachi Shala. Club members can plan sessions for RYLA at Dadachi Shala. 2. Rtn Asmita suggested to repeat donation appeal every month as many club members are interested to donate. 3. Weekly quiz is appreciated & participated by many club members. • Treasurer: Rtn Uday gave information about this: 1. Thanks to all to like & share as per links sent by her for each project & meeting. • Invitee Past President Vibhakar Ramtirthkar suggested to plan some signature project. • President Milind informed about Kishor Dhomkar Foundation’s award for our club for best social activities and suggested to promote to invite two retired soldiers for Ganesh arati from next year. • President Milind appealed to all to concentrate on BOD Agenda points so that meeting finishes in time. • Vote of Thanks: PE Sameer proposed vote of thanks. |
