| Minutes of Meeting | This meeting was a trip to Zapurza Art Gallery. Members assembled at Muktangan to decide carpooling. All reached at the Zapurza Art Gallery by 12 noon. There were 8 Art Galleries, 2 halls, the amphitheater & Shankar Temple. Zapurza name is derived from the same poem written by Poet Keshavsut which is based on feelings of father when daughter leaves his home after her marriage. The art gallery is developed by PNG’s Ajit Gadgil. It is designed by architect Shirish Beri. The galleries have hundreds of 200 year old paintings, musical instruments, old gold/silver jewellery, hundreds of old lamps, old printing instruments & old advertisements, Paithanee saree & Shela types, old film camera/projector, Charakha & old valuable statues/showpieces. The amphitheater can be used for hosting various competitions. Delicious food is served in the Café of Poona Guest House. All members enjoyed tasty fellowship by Rtn Prakash & Aruna Shah. It was a pleasant day for all the members. |
