Noted elephant consevationalist Anand Shinde, “The Elephant Whisperer,” is known for his unique ability to communicate with and calm traumatized elephants. In a mesmerising lecture he explained his extremely touching journey of how Photographer Anand becomes an “elephant whisperer”, as he learns to communicate with elephants by watching their ears, eyes, trunk explorations, hearing their rumblings sound & guessing the leg stamping of elephants. This meeting on wildlife with a social message was conducted in synery with 9 clubs with emphasis on conservation of elephants. Anand Shinde explained the need of elephants in ecological cycle and the efforts to be undertaken for the same. The meeting saw an attendance of more than 150 participants. This was a unique activity different from the regular wildlife programs
